Presentation of Award
Due to Covid restrictions at the time, the usual presentation at Buckingham Palace could not take place. Instead on 26th July 2021 Milford Conservation Volunteers were presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services by HM Lord-Lieutenant – Nigel Atkinson, at the South Lawn Hotel. Unfortunately, also due to the Covid restrictions, the number of attendees was limited to present and past committee members and local dignitaries.
It was a warm sunny day and a delightful event .
