After 2 years of waiting, a few of us have had a training session to start surveying hedgerows in Milford and Keyhaven. With 2m long stick, measuring tapes and reference guides, we began by looking at the hedgerow near the kissing gate at the church end of Love Lane.

This is Hedge Number 1 and Jen will be identifying others to survey in Milford and Keyhaven. The results will eventually be fed into the Hampshire Biodiversity Information Centre (HBIC) database.
