May Nature Walk

Despite the winds and heavy drizzle, ten of us donned our waterproofs for the May Nature Walk. Starting at the sheltered bird observatory at Keyhaven, we walked along the very windy sea wall to fishtail lagoon, then back along the ancient highway.

The highlight being the 4 avocets and a common tern nesting on the island in Fishtail lagoon, and the brief appearance of a little tern.

Apologies for the clash with the task and logging sessions today, we’ll do our best to avoid this in future.
