Nature Walk

Meeting Point: Sturt Pond Bird Hide
Leader: Keith Metcalf
The walk will be from the Hide to the Keyhaven Observatory along the coast taking in:
- north end of Sturt Pond LNR
- the first part of the Spit along The Cut to second bridge (i.e. bridge to bridge)
- along Saltgrass Lane viewing the farmland (north) and Mount Lake (south)
- along the sea wall above Saltgrass Marsh and overlooking Keyhaven River area
- to Keyhaven Harbour, finishing at
- the bird Observatory.
He will then do a return trip along the same route in reverse and hope to complete the walk back to Sturt Pond by about noon or soon after.
Don’t forget your binoculars if you have them, as you never know what might turn up!
