SUMMARY:Volunteer Conservation task
DESCRIPTION:This task is for registered volunteers only. If you would like to join us please complete our contact form.\n\n\n\n\n\nCoastal Footpath Repairs \n\n\n\nMeeting Point; West of the Hordle Cliff Café where the paved cliff top footpath ends and the cliff path proper begins. Unless you pay to park in the Hordle Cliff NFDC car park or the overflow park\, I suggest you park in West Road\, Pless Road or Westminster Road. \n\n\n\nTask details; the coastal footpath in this area is severely eroded. Similar to previous footpath work in the Pleasure Grounds\, the intention is to widen the path\, fix edging boards and provide a more level path with imported sub base material. It is unlikely that there will be any lighter type of work available on this task. \n\n\n\nParish Council Support; This task is being led by the parish Council and will involve the use of the power barrows to transport the sub base material. \n\n\n\nGenerally;  Please bring water/refreshments and appropriate sturdy gloves and footwear. With summer coming along a hat and insect repellent are also worth packing. Long trousers are recommended and please bring shovels and rakes.
