SUMMARY:Conservation Task
DESCRIPTION:We will meet at the end of Sharvells Road where there is a layby with usually\, plenty of parking space\, please bring gloves and any cutting tools you have to assist. Don’t forget some water as we always need an excuse to stop for a rest !!! \n\n\n\nWe will meet at 10am on 19th April\, if you cant make 10am and will arrive later let me know and I will give you another location to find us. It is a mixed level of easy and heavier tasks session. \n\n\n\nThis tasking session is going to be removing the ivy from established trees to give them a chance of surviving another winter of strong winds. \n\n\n\n. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails of this event are sent to everyone on the volunteer task list. If you would like to join the list please fill in our contact form. \n\n\n\nTasks are planned with the parish council\, and vary from lighter clearance work e.g. footpaths\, bramble\, rhododendron and hazel coppice\, to heavier work like drainage\, revetment or footpaths. \n\n\n\nVolunteers should wear gloves and sturdy footwear\, safety glasses and long trousers recommended. Depending on the season and weather bring along sunscreen and insect repellent and if you need it\, and bring your own water/refreshments.
